For me, the most important film directors have always been Bresson, Ozu, Cassavetes, Mizoguchi, and Tarkovsky. These are the five, the top five. I have to say Tarkovsky. When I saw Andrei Rublev first time, I just thought about how he was able to tell a very complicated story for me, as a 16-year-old guy, in a very simple way.
