And so for me, a lot of it came from growing up watching a lot of the Hong Kong action filmmakers and their films, and them trying to push the boundaries of what they could do. And you look at guys like John Woo, Tsui Hark, or Ringo Lam, when you watch their early stuff, there’s an energy there that I remember just sucking it all up, and I wanted to be part of that.
