I grew up with Dario Argento's films. I remember seeing them very early on. The Bird with the Crystal Plumage (L’uccello dalle piume di cristallo, 1970) and The Cat o’ Nine Tails (Il gatto a nove code, 1971) were two of the first movies I ever saw in a cinema, so they are part of my aesthetic memory.
This movie to me is where it all started. It's the origin of the modern serial killer.
