Garth Jennings is an English film director, screenwriter, producer, actor and writer. Films he has directed include The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Son of Rambow, Sing, and its sequel Sing 2. I love British comedy from the Ealing comedies, like Kind Hearts and Coronets, or The Ladykillers with Alec Guinness. All these films have a sense of energy and pure entertainment, which I was striving for.
