I'm a huge fan of James Cameron. 'Aliens' is probably my favorite film. So obviously that has rubbed off on 'District 9,' definitely. I think subconsciously, a ton of Aliens rubbed off on District 9. Not only the subject matter of the xenomorphs themselves, but the whole military aspect.
