Yes, absolutely. It's not a film that I would have thought of in making Happy End, but I've always admired it. It was made by a number of German filmmakers reacting to the rise of terrorism in the 1970s. I find the film very interesting, and I’m sure it did have an influence on me, even if unconsciously.
