Sukiyaki Western Django

When I was in junior high school I saw the original 'Django,' directed by Sergio Corbucci. I was so surprised and impressed by the violence and the unique visual style. The protagonist carrying a coffin, the way he fights — it was all incredibly cool. That film really showed me the possibilities of cinema and certainly influenced my approach to making genre films, particularly in how I stage action and portray anti-heroes.
