Cinematic DNA
I watched 'Blue Velvet' again recently. I mean, David Lynch is the master of that. He created a beautiful, bizarre, violent, erotic world that you want to be in, but you’re so terrified. And I think that’s what I've always been trying to create.

Lynch is a master of creating atmosphere, and Blue Velvet is one of his best examples of showing the darkness beneath a beautiful surface.
