I definitely think Brokeback Mountain is a masterpiece, a beautiful movie that resonates a lot for me. And I think that for sure, its beautiful, classic approach to the tale of these two men who cannot express their love for each other, has always been something that I’ve loved. I didn’t think about it when I was making the movie, but when I was conceiving the movie, for sure, Brokeback Mountain was in my mind.
