The lessons I’ve taken from watching Les’s films are numerous. Not necessarily ‘this is how to shoot this, or this is how to record sound’ but more just an overall love for subjects, being able to let a camera roll and watch people, and see what you can find... I’ve seen ‘Burden of Dreams’ probably twenty times and I never cease to be amazed by the movie and his work.
